Recently B-to-B published an article regarding percentages of e-mails not making it to the inbox, headlined “More than 20% of business e-mail not delivered.”
So make sure to follow-up with phone calls or request a confirmation from the recipient, since businesses often have layers of e-mail protection and some of these don’t provide a bounce message response.
I have noticed this occurring even with on-going clients, since updates and software are constantly changing.
So when in doubt, don’t wait too long, it’s all about follow-up still!
